What You Need
"Open ended play materials allow wonderful scope for children to explore and learn. Playdough is one such material. Below find a fantastically simple homemade playdough that your kids will love to play with during the holiday season.
Cinnamon Playdough
Ingredients:
2 cups Flour
1 cup Salt
4 tsp Cream of tartar
3 tbls Oil
2 cups Water
2/3 tbls Cinnamon Spice
Mix all ingredients together in a large pot. Turn on ring and cook until the dough is just about to form a solid ball and remove from heat. Knead until soft and smooth. The cinnamon scent is wonderful for the season.
For a very festive Christmas playdough, add a drop or two of peppermint essence and some green food colouring instead of cinnamon.
